FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022: Draw Results of Qualifying Tournaments, Groups teams, Host Venues, schedule dates.






The highly-anticipated Draw for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournaments took place in Geneva on Tuesday, 23rd November.



 The Top 16 national ranking teams to take part in the four Qualifying Tournaments which will be take place in Three different place Belgrade (Serbia), Osaka (Japan) and Washington, D.C. (USA) as host cities for the four FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournaments confirmed by The FIBA Central Board.

 Belgrade will host two qualifying tournaments, while Osaka and Washington, D.C.  will each stage one event. The qualifying tournaments will take place from February 10 to 13.

Group A   features Australia, South Korea, Serbia and Brazil heads to Belgrade (Serbia).

Group B   consists of China that will face France, Nigeria and Mali heads to Belgrade (Serbia) .

Group C   matches, to be staged in Osaka (JP), feature Bosnia and Herzegovina, Japan, Canada and Belarus.

Group D  includes Russia, the United States, Puerto Rico and Belgium will take part in Washington D.C (USA)..

The 19th edition of FIBA's most distinguished women's event, the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022, will take place in Sydney, Australia from September 22 to October 1.



The host of the Women's World Cup 2022, Australia, and Olympic champions, USA, will participate in the qualifiers. However, both of these teams receive automatic qualification for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 - Australia as event hosts and the USA by virtue of winning the Olympic Women's Basketball Tournament in Tokyo.
