James picked up the pace with 17 points in the first quarter and went on tears in the fourth at his former home court, scoring 23 of his 46 points to hold the Los Angeles Lakers undefeated on the road with a 115-108 win over the Cavaliers.
James' season-high 46 came on 19-of-26 shots from the floor, including 7-of-11 shots from beyond the arc. He also added eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, two steals.
With the match in question, James took 9 out of 10 shots in the final 12 minutes, posing to hang on to his shape after dripping a 34-footer from the Cavs logo as the shot clock came to an end, bringing the Lakers ahead of 103-98.
