A purse topping $11 million will be distributed to the top 79 finishers at this week's PGA Championship 2020.
Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey will each take home $968,000 as second-place finishers splitting the next two prize amounts.
Morikawa won at the age 23, He's the third-youngest player to win the PGA Championship in the stroke play era and Joined the Jack Nicklaus (1963), Tiger Woods (1999) and Rory McIlroy (2012) as Wanamaker Trophy holders.
