AFC U23 Championship 2020 Schedule: All Groups Fixtures, dates with venues.
The 2020 AFC U23 Championship is scheduled to be held in Thailand from January 8 to 26, 2020 and the 16 participating teams were drawn into 4 groups, the group stage draw held on Thursday, 26 Sept.
2020 AFC U23 Championship Thailand, Venues, Locations, Stadiums:
The Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok will be the main venue for the tournament and is likely to host the final slated for January 26. The stadium, that can seat close to 50,000 spectators.
The Thammasat Stadium in Pathum Thani is the second confirmed venue for the AFC U23 Championship in Thailand, It has a seating capacity of around 25,000.
The Tinsulanon Stadium in Songkhla has previously hosted football competition in the 1998 Asian Games and has a capacity of 45,000.
The fourth stadium is the Chang Arena in Buriram which is home to Thai League 1 champion Buriram United. The stadium can seat close to 33,000 fans.

.Hosts Thailand finds themselves in Group A with Iraq, Australia and Bahrain while 2018 AFC U23 Championship finalists Vietnam are in Group D with DPR Korea, Jordan and United Arab Emirates (UAE).

2020 AFC U23 Championship Thailand: Full tournament fixtures, schedule dates.
Top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stages of the fourth edition of the continental tournament. The semifinals will be played on January 22 while the final will take place at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on January 26.
Top three teams from the AFC U23 Championship 2020 will also qualify for the men’s football competition in the 2020 Olympics to be held in Tokyo. The fourth-placed team also have a chance to qualify if the 2020 Olympics hosts Japan are among the top three teams in the continental championship.
