The world’s most famous golf tournament US Masters 2019 gets underway.
The first of golf’s four annual major tournaments, the Masters is expected to feature an overall purse of $11 million as compared to last year payout breakdown $9.8 million, when Patrick Reed, wear Green Jacket as the champion gets $1,980 million prize pool and second-place finisher received $1.188 million

That's the reward for coming out on top while the runner-up takes home $1.2m (£950,000). Third place will earn $782,000 (£600,000).
