Big Bash League Season 1 (2011-12) Winner: Sydney Sixers

Perth Scorchers is the best Big Bash League team in all season because they have a reason. They have reached in finals of 5 season winning three of them. In the sixth season, they crushed Sydney Sixers to get their third title.

Bowling first, they stopped Sydney to 141/9 out of 20 overs. Tim Branson and Jhye Richardson picked 3 wickets each. In reply, Perth easily chased the scores target in the sixteenth over with 9 wickets remaining. Michael Klinger made 71 off 49 balls and Sam Whiteman 41 of every 21.

Melbourne Renegades have won the Final match against Melbourne Star by 13 Runs in the 8th season the Big Bash League 2018-19.

Sydney Sixers successfully defend the BBL 10 title 2021, by batting first at Sydney Cricket Ground, managed 188-6 thanks to a 95 runs in 60 balls world-class & Marvelous Hard-Hitting batting by James Vince. The England batsman played a match-winning knock of 95 runs which came off 60 deliveries and included 10 boundaries and three fours.

Big Bash League season 11 winners: BBL Finals 2021-22 champions.



The Perth Scorchers have made Australian cricket history after they absolutely demolished the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash Final. Sydney Sixers, who were denied a third-straight crown by the rampant Perth Scorchers on Friday night.

 The Scorchers were reeling at 4/25, But skipper Ashton Turner and Englishman Laurie Evans dragged the men in orange back into the game with a sensational 104-run partnership.

 Turner had 54 off 35 balls in a superb captain’s knock, while Evans top scored with 76 off 41 as the Scorchers recovered to post a strong total of 171.

IN REPLY, 

 Daniel Hughes was the best of the Sixers with 42 off 33, but Nick Bertus (15) and Jay Lenton (10 not out) were the only others to reach double figures. 

 In the end, the Scorchers bowled out the Sixers in the 17th over and won by 79 runs. 

The victory sees them become the first team to win four BBL titles in the history of the Big Bash...

Big Bash League season 12 winners: BBL 2023 Champion Perth Scorchers.


With a thrilling five-wicket victory over Brisbane Heat, Perth Scorchers won the Big Bash for the fifth time.

As the Scorchers chased down their target of 176 with four balls to spare in Perth, Nick Hobson hit a six and a four in consecutive balls.

Ashton Turner's half-century and Cooper Connolly's lively cameo helped lay the groundwork for victory.

Nathan McSweeney had earlier top-scored for the Heat with 41 runs from 20 overs.

The game swung back in the Heat's favour when they both fell in quick succession, but incredible power hitting from Hobson and teenager Connolly, who smashed 25 off just 11 balls, helped them cross the finish line.

Big Bash League season 13 winners: BBL 2023–24 Champion Brisbane Heat


Brisbane Heat face Sydney Sixers in the final of the 2023/24 BBL season. Sydney Sixers won the toss and invited Brisbane Heat to bat first. In the BBL final, Brisbane Heat posted 166 runs as Josh Brown scored 53 runs and helped the team to put on a fighting total.

However, the Sydney Sixers’ innings was wrapped up for 112 runs as the Heat won the game by 54 runs. Sixers batters had no answer for Spencer Johnson, who picked four wickets and led his team to win the second title.

Big Bash League season 14 winners: BBL 2024–25 Champion Hobart Hurricanes


Hobart Hurricanes faced the Sydney Thunder in the finals of the BBL 2024/25 season. Hobart Hurricanes won the toss and put Thunder to bat first. Both openers from Thunder gave the team a good start as they shared a 97-run partnership for the first wicket. By the end of the first innings, Thunder had put on 182 runs to chase.

Mitchell Owen set the tone for Hobart Hurricanes as he went on to score 108 runs in the chase. His knock helped the team to win their first title since the BBL started. Mitchell Owen also scored the fastest century in BBL history.


Big Bash League 2025-26 winner: BBL 15 Champion Perth Scorchers 


Perth Scorchers won their record sixth men’s Big Bash League title, defeating Sydney Sixers by six wickets in the 2025–26 final at Optus Stadium.

After being sent in to bat, the Sixers were restricted to 132, with David Payne (3–18) starring and later named player of the final. Perth’s bowlers kept tight control, preventing a late surge.

Chasing 133, Scorchers openers Mitchell Marsh and Finn Allen gave a fast start with an 80-run stand. Despite a rain-affected, tricky pitch slowing progress, Josh Inglis sealed victory with a six, finishing 29 not out as Perth reached the target with 15 balls to spare.

The win capped a dominant tournament for Perth, who topped the group stage and now hold six BBL titles, the most in the competition’s history.
