XFL 2020: Eight Team, Cities, Stadiums, Coaches confirmed.




Vince McMahon's has confirmed the professional American football league (New XFL) Wednesday including the eight cities that will have teams in their respective stadiums.   

The rebooted XFL season will officially kick off in February of 2020. It will arrive the week after the NFL's Super Bowl to give football fans another several months work of the game to watch, the first one XFL is played almost Two decades ago in 2001.

McMahon isn't the only one hope to start a spring football league, with the American Alliance of Football set to kick off its inaugural season in 2019.


New York will join Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Washington as the cities with teams that will be owned by the league.

The New XFL league will kick off in 2020 and will consist of eight teams in eight cities and 10 weeks of regular-season play, leading to two semifinals and a championship game.



The season is expected to begin immediately following the NFL's Super Bowl, it is possible that will take place in the First week of February. 

Team names will be assigned in 2019.




What is the XFL.?



The XFL is a proposed professional American football league owned by Vince McMahon's Alpha Entertainment. It is a successor to the previous XFL, which was controlled by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and NBC, and ran for a single season in 2001. The league will follow a similar structure as it did in 2001, with eight teams, centrally owned and operated by the league and spread across the United States in markets currently or recently represented by a National Football League franchise, competing in a ten-game season and a two-week postseason in the winter and spring months.





XFL 2020 Coaches, Rumors, Updates.

Football fans who are anticipating the XFL 2020 season's start are waiting for the latest news on how teams will look heading into that season.


1 -   The Dallas team has been named Bob Stoops as the head coach.


2 -  It is most likely rumores & accord. to a sports site NBC's Pro Football Talk that the XFL Washington DC team will reveal Pep Hamilton as their head coach.


3 -  It is also rumored to have circulated that the XFL Seattle team Head coach will be former Seahawks quarterback Jim Zorn.

 Seattle — CenturyLink Field Stadium The 72,000-seat stadium home to the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and the MLS Seattle Sounders FC team is considered to be one of the loudest stadiums in the country.


Tampa Bay — Raymond James Stadium

The 65,000-seat stadium has been home to the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the South Florida Bulls football team which represents the University of South Florida.



Dallas — Globe Life Park Stadium
 The nearly 50,000-seat baseball stadium is home to Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers, so the field could have that 'baseball look' come late season.


New York — MetLife Stadium
 Based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the 82,000-seat stadium is home to the New York Jets and New York Giants of the NFL.



Washington D.C. — Audi Stadium
Located next to the Washington Nationals' stadium, this 20,000-seat venue is home to D.C. United of Major League Soccer.



Los Angeles — StubHub Center Stadium

The 27,000-seat stadium was built to be the home of the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, but it is also playing home to the Los Angeles Chargers.



Houston — TD ECU Stadium
The 42,000-seat stadium opened four years ago and is home to the Houston Cougars college football team which represents the University of Houston.



St. Louis — The Dome at America's Center Stadium

The nearly 67,000-seat dome opened in the mid-1990s and has sat empty since the NFL's Los Angeles Rams left town to return to their West Coast home.
