Afghanistan & Sri Lanka tour to Scotland home season next Summer 2019.
Scotland Team has increased their Cricket fixtures to add Afghanistan for Two ODI series at the home soil in their next Summer season in May 2019.
Scotish Cricket also previously dates set for the upcoming series Schedule to host Sri Lanka for Two One day Internationals matches in the same month in May at Edinburgh.
Scottish Cricket board has confirmed their team Fixtures for upcoming home season series for earlier Sri Lanka & later on schedule dates set for Afghanistan in Next Summer season in May 2019.
Afghanistan tour of Scotland 2019
In the upcoming Scotland cricket team scheduled, they will host two ODIs against Afghanistan on May 8 and 10 in Edinburgh.
Sri Lanka tour of Scotland 2019
The two ODIs dates set for next scheduled, as they'll also host to two more ODIs against Sri Lanka on 18th and 21st of May 2019.
The last time Afghanistan toured Scotland was in 2016 when they beat the hosts 1-0 in the ODI series. The two teams met most earlier this year in Zimbabwe during the World Cup Qualifiers.
Even though Scotland team beat Afghanistan by seven wickets in that contest, they lost out on a World Cup berth with the Asian side joining Windies for the main draw.
"It is fantastic to have attracted two full members for our summer internationals and we are delighted to be playing Afghanistan in May," Malcolm Cannon, CEO of Cricket Scotland, said on Tuesday (December 18).
"With our quadrangular series in February and the new ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 starting in July 2019 looks set to be a busy year for the men's international team," he further added.
