The 105th edition of 2018 Tour de France is one world biggest cycling race throughout the world, & it takes place from Saturday, July 7 through Sunday, July 29. There will be 19 teams competing for some big prizes.


 The race comprises over 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,351 kilometers (approx. 2082 miles).  There will be a small stint of approx. nine miles which will contain into Spain.
There are 11 cities/stages that have never been a part of the race prior.

 The first stage starts in Noirmoutier-en-l’Île and the 21st stage will end in Paris Champs-Élysées.

  The Great British, 32 years old, Geraint Thomas winners of the Tour de France 2018 will get €500,000 about £445,000 - but there's over €2,000,000 in the total purse.



Each stage winners will get their share €11,000 till the 20th place.

 During every stage at the intermediate sprints, the winner gets prize money €1,500, €1,000 for second and €500 for third place.

 The most eager rider will get the €2,000 on the stage and the most aggressive overall gets a €20,000 payout for his efforts while the best young rider on each stage pockets €500.


Top 8 riders in Mountains, Young riders, and Top Five teams will get their winner share between €50,000 to €8,000.


  Green and polka jerseys Winners – in the points and mountains classifications respectively – will each get €25,000 payout while the white jersey of the young classification takes home €20,000 prize money.
