Netball World Cup 2019: New Zealand beat Australia to clinch Final title.




    The 15th edition of Netball World Cup is going to held in Echo Arena in Liverpool, United Kingdom from 12 July-21 July 2019.
Normally Netball World Cup tournament organized after every four years by (INF) since the inaugural Netball world cup was held in 19. The first Netball World Championship (as it was known then) took place in Eastbourne in 1963.



New Zealand stunned holders and 11-time champions Australia to win the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool.

The final was tense throughout and came down to the dying seconds and just one goal, as the Kiwis prevailed 52-51.

It was the Silver Ferns' fifth world title but their first since 2003 as they finally ended the Diamonds' dominance.

There are 16 teams Top ranked teams from across the world will compete in Echo Arena, Liverpool, England at the Netball World Cup in July 2019.

The teams will be selected through both the International Netball Federation (INF) world rankings and regional qualifying tournaments, with the final list of teams to be confirmed in September 2018.


The top 16 teams divided into Four Groups, compete in Netball WC at preliminary stage one, that will be played on 12 July-14 July, in the second preliminary stage two (knockout stage) the last eight teams compete for Play-Offs & Placing, the two semi-finals between top 4 teams that will take place on 19-21 July.

Also, the 2019 Netball World Cup Final match will be held on 21st July 2019.


As a host nation, England automatically qualified for the tournament, along with the top five ranked teams; Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, South Africa, and Malawi.
