Snooker Records-Maker, Englishman, 43, Ronnie O'Sullivan won a record-extending Eighth UK Championship snooker title 2023 in York with a 10-7 victory over Chinese's Ding Junhui as Runner-up.
O'Sullivan, who won his first UK Championship in 1993 at the age of 17, now has 20 'Triple Crown' event titles - the World Championship, UK Championship, and Masters Snooker.
Ding Junhui was the runner-up of 2022 edition and the champions of 20219 UK Championship Snooker.
He will also be £250,000 richer by the time his 48th birthday comes around on Tuesday.
