The Rugby Championship (TRC) is a Rugby-Union international competition played annually among the 4-nations Australia (Wallabies), New Zealand (All Blacks), South Africa & Argentina who joined in 2012, prior to this it is called as Tri-Nations.

The competition was organized in 1996 as Tri-nations administered by SANZAAR.
The inaugurated tournament was won by All Blacks-NZ.

Overall New Zealand (All blacks) have won the most titles of Tri-nations & Rugby Championships with 15th times, lead by Australia & South Africa overall win the title 3rd times each.

The Top Point Scorer of The Rugby Championship is Dan Carter (All BLACKS) with 554 points.
The highest-top try scorer is Bryan Habana (Springboks) with 21st tries.


South African Sprinboks successfully defend the 2025 The Rugby Championship and also defending champions.
