The 1st officially tournament was held in 1996 from 12 clubs-franchises across New Zealand, Australia & South Africa, & called as Super 12 till the 2005 year, &  2 new teams/clubs are added in 2006 & known as Super 14...
In 2011 there 1 more team included & known as Super 15 . In 2016 two new teams had arrived from Argentina & Japan.
Currently, there are 15 teams by three Conferences in 2019 Super Rugby.
Recently Super Rugby 2018 Champions team is Crusaders, who holds the most title winners with 9th times...
