2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship Full Field: All 30 Teams & Individual Qualifiers



The 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship field is officially set. Thirty teams and six individuals will compete at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa’s North Course in Carlsbad, California, starting Friday for the national title.Oklahoma State enters as the defending champion, looking to repeat after winning in 2025.

Key Storylines for the 2026 Championship

This year’s field features a strong mix of traditional power programs and surging teams. Multiple SEC schools (Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt) highlight the depth of the conference. ACC and Big 12 programs also remain well-represented.Defending champion Oklahoma State will be one of the top teams to beat, while programs like Stanford, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Arizona State are expected to contend for the title.The tournament begins with 54 holes of stroke play (Friday through Sunday), followed by a fourth stroke-play round on Monday to determine the top eight teams for match play. Quarterfinals and semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday, with the championship match on Wednesday, June 3.


Omni La Costa North Course

The renovated North Course (par-72) will challenge the nation’s best college golfers. Recent changes by architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner include a drivable par-4 11th, a repositioned par-3 16th, and a demanding par-5 18th stretching over 600 yards with water in play.
