The 2026 Visit Pensacola Sun Belt Women’s Basketball Championship presented by Air Force Reserve will take place March 3-9 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla., with all 14 Sun Belt institutions competing in the single-elimination tournament.

The James Madison Dukes won the 2026 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship by defeating the Troy Trojans 69–52 in the final on March 9, 2026.
Final Score: James Madison 69, Troy 52.
Most Outstanding Player: Peyton McDaniel (James Madison), who recorded a double-double with 28 points and 10 rebounds in the title game.
Key Performers:
Ashanti Barnes (James Madison) contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Fortuna Ngnawo (Troy) led the Trojans with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Historical Significance: This was James Madison's second Sun Belt title in four years and their 11th conference tournament championship overall. They became the first team seeded fourth or lower to win the tournament since 2016.
