What is the Prize money for Tokyo Marathon 2026?

Prize money details for the elite fields (marathon and wheelchair) are not fully finalized in public announcements yet, but based on recent patterns and increases:  Elite marathon: Typically around $600,000–$1,000,000 total purse (e.g., top prizes ~$80,000–$100,000 USD for 1st place men/women, with bonuses for world/course records).  

Elite wheelchair: Increased for 2026—1st place now $25,000 USD (up from prior), 2nd $12,000, with payouts down to 8th place.
