The first team from the original 68-team 2026 Men's NCAA Tournament bracket to secure its ticket to the Final Four came from the South Region, where No. 3 seed Illinois defeated Big Ten foe No. 9 seed Iowa for the program's first trip to the Final Four since 2005.



Next up, No. 1 seed Michigan throttled Rick Barnes and No. 6 seed Tennessee 95-62 to become the third Final Four team to secure a berth to Indianapolis. UConn became the last team to go dancing in dramatic fashion, with Braylon Mullins hitting a miraculous game-winning 3-pointer put Huskies over Duke 73-72.



Who is in the Men's Final Four? Bracket, Seeds


No. 3 seed Illinois became the first team to advance past the Elite Eight and move onto the Final Four with a 71-59 win over No. 9 seed Iowa. Arizona then followed suit with a 79-64 win over Purdue to clinch the West bracket. Here's a look at who has moved on to the Final Four:

Men's March Madness Final Four Bracket Matchups


Saturday, April 4

No. 3 Illinois vs. No. 2 UConn

No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 1 Arizona

UConn will go up against Illinois first on Saturday night in Indianapolis.

The other side of the bracket features a national championship-caliber game in the semifinals. Arizona and Michigan will square off in the late game on Saturday after their respective Elite Eight double digit victories.

The 2026 Men’s Final Four will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Saturday, April 4 – National Semifinals 

Game 1:

Arizona vs. No. 1 Michigan -  8:49 p.m. ET

Exact pairings for the national semifinals will be determined after the Elite Eight games are completed. Announcer assignments will also be announced closer to the event.

Where is the men's Final Four?


Venue: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana 

The Final Four returns to Indianapolis for the first time since the 2021 COVID-19 bubble tournament. 

This will be the fourth time Lucas Oil Stadium has hosted the event and the ninth time overall that Indianapolis has welcomed the Final Four (the first was in 1980 at Market Square Arena).

The city previously hosted four Final Fours inside the RCA Dome.Indianapolis is also scheduled to host the Final Four again in 2029.
