Atlanta Hawks select Kobe Bufkin with No. 15 pick in 2023 NBA Draft, add Seth Lundy at No. 46.

The Atlanta Hawks stumbled for much of the 2022-23 season as the pairing with All-Star Trae Young failed to reap benefits from the start.

Snyder helped steer the ship back to a 41-41 record, setting up the Hawks for a play-in appearance. After besting the Miami Heat, Atlanta would go on to earn the eighth seed,

eventually falling to the Boston Celtics in six games in the first round.

Bufkin enjoyed a major role in his second season with the Wolverines and made the most of it.

He averaged 14 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 35.5% from deep.

He’s a versatile player on offense with the ability to finish at the basket and be a playmaker.

Bufkin is also a solid on-ball defender, a combination that can make him an instant contributor.

He has tons of upside, which Atlanta will want to develop as a complementary piece to Trae Young.
