The Crucible draw, schedule results and live scores for the 49th edition of the 2025 World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theater in Sheffield.


The Crucible Tournament is here, and all eyes will be on Ronnie O'Sullivan as the snooker legend tries to win a record eighth World Championship title in Sheffield.


Kyren Wilson starts the defense of his 2024 World Snooker Championship against 21-year-old Lei Peifan; an immediately stern test for the defending champion.

Peifan won his first ranking title in December 2024 at the Scottish Open, and will be hoping to cause an upset in his World Championship debut.


Elsewhere in the first round, Ronnie O'Sullivan takes on Ali Carter in one of the ties of the round, and last year's finalist Jak Jones faces Zhao Xintong.

Tournament favourite Judd Trump starts his World Championship campaign against Zhou Yuelong on Tuesday (April 22) night.

The 2025 World Championship runs from April 19 to 5th May. All matches will be held at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.

Zhao, 28, is in his first world final, which finishes on Monday, against three-time champion Williams - who, at the age of 50, is the oldest ever Crucible finalist.
