Dallas Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland Passed Away at Aged 24

Dallas Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away at 24.

The Dallas Cowboys are mourning the tragic loss of defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who passed away Thursday morning at the age of 24.

The team issued a statement:
"It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning. Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family."

Kneeland, in his second season with the Cowboys, had just scored his first career touchdown three days ago during the Monday Night loss to the Arizona Cardinals, recovering a blocked punt in the end zone.

A second-round pick (56th overall) from Western Michigan, Kneeland played in seven of nine games this season, recording one sack, 15 tackles, and six QB pressures. In his rookie season in 2024, he appeared in 11 games despite missing six due to injury.

The Cowboys are on a bye week and will return to play Nov. 17 against the Raiders in Las Vegas.
