Federer Tear-down, Djokovic reached 10th Wimbledon Semifinals & 41st Slams

Wimbledon 2021: Novak Djokovic beats Fucsovics reached 10th Wimbledon Semifinals & 41st grand slams.



 World number one and five-time champion Novak Djokovic reached his 10th Wimbledon semi-final on Wednesday with a straight-sets win over Marton Fucsovics of Hungary. 

Djokovic, chasing a record-equalling 20th Grand Slam title, won 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 and will face either Russia s Karen Khachanov or Denis Shapovalov of Canada for a place in Sunday s final. 


It was 34-year-old Djokovic s 100th career grass court win as he made the last-four of a major for the 41st time.

 The Serb will play 10th seed Denis Shapovalov on Friday after the Canadian beat Russian 25th seed Karen Khachanov.


 Djokovic became only the third man to capture all four majors more than once with his second French Open victory last month. 

Now he is halfway to becoming the first man since Rod Laver in 1969., and only the third in history, to complete a calendar Grand Slam of all four majors.

 Wimbledon 2021: Roger Federer knocked out by Hubert Hurkacz in quarter-finals.



 Eight-time champion Roger Federer was knocked out of Wimbledon in the quarter-finals after being stunned by Hubert Hurkacz. 


 Poland's Hubert Hurkacz, the world number 18 and 14th seed, wins it in three sets. 


The final set goes Hurkacz's way, winning it 6-0.


The Polish, won 6-3 7-6 (7-4) 6-0 to reach his first Grand Slam semi-final. It is the first time 20-time major champion Federer has lost a set to love at the All England Club. 


Hurkacz, the 14th seed, will play Matteo Berrettini or Felix Auger-Aliassime for a place in Sunday's final.


 Federer, at 39 years and 337 days, had been Forbidden to Enters, And denied to become the oldest man to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals in the Open era.....
