Wembley allows 4K in FA Cup Semis, 8K Fans at Carabao Cup Final

Carabao Cup Final: 8000 crowed will allowed to attend, Fans also watched 2021 FA Cup Semis, Final at Wembley stadium.




The Carabao Cup 2021 final fixture between Tottenham and Manchester City will have 8,000 fans in attendance after it was confirmed as a pilot testing event to return the big crowds at stadiums.



The 2021 Emirates FA Cup Final and one semi-final at Wembley Stadium are set to be among a range of pilot events hosting audiences as part of the government’s plan to get big crowds back this summer.


The events, which also includes the EFL Cup Final at Wembley, will be part of the government’s science-led Events Research Programme (ERP).








First up is the Emirates FA Cup semi-final between Leicester City and Southampton on Sunday 18 April, which will host an audience of 4000 people, before the League Cup Final on 25 April is to have 8000 spectators.


The plan is then to build up to hosting a 21,000 crowd for the Emirates FA Cup Final on Saturday 15 May.

UK broadcast details for our Emirates FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April 2021 have now been confirmed.



Both games will be staged at Wembley Stadium connected by EE and the dates, kick-off times and broadcast channels for the semi-finals are outlined below:

Chelsea v Manchester City (5.30pm BST) – BBC One and BBC iPlayer


Sunday 18 April 2021

Leicester City v Southampton (6.30pm BST) – BT Sport 1 HD and BT Sport Ultimate



£900,000 and £450,000 will be distributed from the Emirates FA Cup’s prize fund to winning and losing clubs respectively in the semi-finals....
