Tiger Woods confirmed the 2020 PGA Tour Schedule at Farmers Insurance Open, Genesis Invitational.

One win away from the PGA Tour's all-time record, Tiger Woods will make his 2020 debut at Torrey Pines.

Woods confirmed his intentions to return on PGA Tour on Thursday said in a Twitter Post -- to the surprise of nobody -- and will make his 2020 PGA Tour debut at Torrey Pines, where he has collected seven Farmers Insurance Open titles and a U.S. Open win over the course of his illustrious career.

Woods, 44, will be going for his record 83rd PGA TOUR victory at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, Jan. 23-26. He has won the Farmers seven times through 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2013, and also won the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.

He will next play at The Genesis Invitational, which benefits his foundation, Feb. 13-16.
The Genesis is played at L.A.’s Riviera Country Club, which has famously blanked Woods in the victory column.

The tournament will be in its first year as an invitational with a few changes, with a smaller field (120 players), a larger purse ($9.3 million) and a three-year exemption to the winner...

Tiger Woods has already won this wraparound season, at the inaugural ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP in Japan last fall.

That was his 82nd victory and moved him into a tie with Sam Snead atop the wins list. He also captained and played for the winning U.S. Presidents Cup Team last month.

“Excited for this season to begin,” Woods tweeted, in part. “See you soon west coast.”

"It's an honor for us to be in the same category as Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer," Woods said of The Genesis Invitational's new status via a press release. "Those are two legends of the game. For us to have this type of elevation, all the things we want to have happen for the tournament are going to happen. On top of that, to be able to host the tournament each and every year at Riviera, where it all started for me, it's come full circle."

The Farmers Insurance Open will take place Jan. 23-26, and the Genesis Invitational will be Feb. 13-16.
The rest of Woods' schedule leading up to the 2020 Masters remains unknown,

it is presumed he will play the WGC-Mexico Championship,
Players Championship
and WGC-Dell Match Play,

which leaves questions about the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Honda Classic.
