 LeBron James has long since left behind still chasing many records with the ghost of Michael Jordan now in most career field goals made.

 LeBron James continues claiming higher ground in the NBA record books.


Friday night, James outclass Luka Doncic as well surpassed Michael Jordan for fourth place on the all-time career field goals made list en route to a 35-point, 16-rebound, 7-assist night in the Los Angeles Lakers' 129-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

 The four-time NBA MVPs has led the league in field goals in five of his 17 seasons. The 15-time All-Star isn't far from the top three of the all-time list, with big man Wilt Chamberlain sitting third thanks to 12,681 made field goals.

 James made another line with the third-oldest player to tally at least 35-plus points, 15-plus rebounds and 5-plus assists, trailing only Elgin Baylor, who achieved the feat twice in February 1970.
