In the most recent confirmed deal of by Barcelona have now paid a staggering £969million in transfer fees since 2014 after securing the signing of Antoine Griezmann.
The La Liga champions finally clinched the signing of the Atletico Madrid forward on Friday in a £108m deal. Barca equaled their transfer record with the signing of Griezmann, mirroring the fee paid to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool in January 2018.

 The Spanish club have now spent more than any other European club since 2014 reports revealed.

Luis Suarez, Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Malcom, Frenkie de Jong have been among the most expensive signings made over the last five years by the Barcelona .


 However, further analysis shows Barca's net spend is £407m, compared with City's net spend of £643m and United's figure of £553m.

Barcelona have added Griezmann, de Jong, Neto and Emerson to their squad already this season and have also been linked with a move to re-sign Neymar.
