 All 32 teams will compete for the 18th edition of FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 hosted by China this summer (August 31-September 15) are known following the conclusion on Monday of the sixth and final window of the FIBA Qualifiers.

 The Czech Republic and Montenegro will make their debuts in the 2019 FIBA World CupChina.

 The draw will take place on 16 March 2019 at Shenzhen Cultural Center in Shenzhen.

 The top 8 FIBA ranking teams from each FIBA Confederation along with host Japan will qualify for the men's basketball event in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo

The important step on the #RoadtoChina 2019 for the 32 qualified teams that is the Draw, presented by Wanda, took place at Shenzhen Bay Arena on Saturday evening.
The draw sets out the path for the 32 participating teams in their journey to be crowned FIBA world champions in FIBA's tournament starting from September 15.


Global sporting icon and World Cup Ambassador Kobe Bryant, together with American best-selling singer/songwriter Jason Derulo, headlined the star-studded event. .


FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Full Draw, Groups.

The Canadians will be joined by Australia, Lithuania and Senegal in Group H making it one of the toughest groups on paper. The group will be played in Dongguan.

Each team plays against the other three teams in their group once. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the 2nd Round and will be placed into a new group with the two top teams from a separate group.

Every team in the 2nd round plays two games against the two team in their group they did not play against in the first round and the top two teams from there will secure a spot in the Quarter-Finals.

Eight teams of the 32 will make the Quarter-Finals and will play single elimination games until a champion is crowned.

  The FIBA Men's World Ranking has been updated after the final and sixth window brought the curtain down on the Qualifiers for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019.


This latest edition of the ranking serves as the basis to determine the top seeds teams and pots for the draw of the first-ever 32-team World Cup.
The top 10 seeds will be tournament hosts China and the seven best-ranked qualified teams -
